before i know it, production will be all over. all in one day...having it run for 3 nights previously was much more gratifying as it was tiring. after all, u've worked 2 full months on the whole production, wouldn't u wan it to last a while more? i kinda like the feeling of being a performer, roaming ard the endless maze of corridors in the UCC theater, having ur own dressing room with the mandatory lightbulbs adorned around the mirror, being holed up in said dressing room, corridors and theater for the whole day, and finally, the exhilaration of the performance night itself. all the hard work, effort and practise boils down to that one night, where u only have one chance to make it all count, where the consequences of the slightest mistake seems to be amplified a thousand times in ur mind. watching it all come together and click into place makes it all the more satisfying, and more so when u realise that u have been a part of it. looking back on all the late nite practices, it sure had its ups and downs, but i knew wat to expect and i was looking foward to it, as i had enjoyed myself last yr. i guess this would be my last time doing production..dun think i would wanna commit myself to this again in my final year, since i alr know wat to expect haha. but then again, i might jus do it all over again, jus for kicks.
and so tom marks the start of the 2 and a half day UCC-immersion course, where we'll get to know the dressing rooms, corridors, toilets, theater, backstage, sound crew, lighting crew (and how anal these ppl can be) and not forgetting the simulated winter conditions (less the snow and winds). tech-runs, hybrid-runs, lunch, skip lessons, sound check, light check, trying to study, dinner, repeat ad nauseam.
yeah bring it on.
ok im getting quite frustrated by the disappearing images on my blog.
look out for a new template.
in time to come.
ya it'll be up when it's up haha.

yup apparently im not a nerd but im sure not some hip guy either...hm..maybe im jus a SoC geek?
went jamming today with a bunch of new jamming mates...played jus 3 songs from RATM and deftones but it felt great. been wanting to play songs like tt, but jamming sessions last time consisted of weezer, green day and blink 182 haha...and i sure dun get to play this stuff in hall. its really therapeutic to whack the drums along with songs like this...but the biggest drawback is partial deafness for hours and a blister on my finger...rite now, its been like 7 hours after we've jammed, and my left hear is still a little hard of hearing. this isnt the worse ive been thru tho, there was once where both amps were facing me...tt was bad man i tell u...everything was muffled when i came out from the studio..i think i need to get ear plugs next time, if not im sure something bad will happen to my hearing in the future..

hm i think this is a long overdue post..
didnt do much for new yr's eve...jus hung out at chomp chomp in serangoon gardens with quek for supper and beer (haha one bottle only ... had to drive back after tt). wanted to sit down at some cafe in the area but all were closing at ard 12. not wanting to spend the countdown to 2005 walking ard aimlessly, we settled back down at chomp chomp and chatted the first couple of hours of 2005 away. haha sigh like 2 ah peks at a coffeeshop drinking beer and chatting.
im not looking fwd to this sem..got one module which involves a big programming project and i tot my smart ass fren wld be taking it but he's not! really hope my group mates are good in programming.on top of tt, ive got probability and stats..and 2 biz/IS kinda computing modules, which shldnt be much of a problem. hopefully i wun pull my CAP down this time. since i did much better the past sem..got my first A and B+ and B in my NUS life haha....dammit..
the bane of all girls not being able to sleep early is wet hair. ive heard quite a number of them complain that they can't sleep cos of their wet hair. and it takes like 15 - 30 mins to dry? depending on hair length of cos. they know that their hair takes sometime to dry, but yet they do all sorts of stuff instead of bathing, and bathe jus when they wan to sleep, and thus they are kept awake cos of their wet hair. whose fault issit man. i say, use a hairdryer or jus simply bathe earlier la..but of cos their retort to using a hairdryer is that it dries the hair..then wats the conditioner/moisturizer/shampoo for dry/frizzy/coloured/damage hair for?
im jus happy i have short hair.
