MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Here's wishing everyone selamat christmas and a merry tahun baru. tts new year in malay for u.
anyhows.
it's been a really busy week. running around, having practices for production and gigs, having gigs itself, rockers dinner/stayover, and of cos, xmas shopping. first up tho, i must say that it feels damn good to have 1.5GB of RAM in my comp. its a long story as to y i have tt insane amount instead of the more normal 1GB, and it gets technical at one point so for the sake of the general readership of this blog, i shall not elaborate on the story. ok i admit, i jus dun wan to sound like a geek on my blog. u can ask me in person if u are so free (read: geeky). so as i was saying, my programs run at like warp speed now compared to last time, and navigating thru folders is a breeze. such a joy to use my comp now haha.
ok moving on, i set my foot in Dbl O for the first time on wed, but it wasn't for clubbing of cos. had a gig there for the launch of Splash cosmetics, some US made cosmetics with really funky colours. u can find it in Sasa shops i think. Dbl O dosent look that fantastic to justify the long queues outside when i previously walked past. the dance floor quite small leh but the bar next to it looks like a nice place to chill out. i would say the highlight of the product launch was the fashion show for Buttcheeks swimwear. y? use ur imagination haha...i had front row seats man.
hm this post seems quite pointless eh...like i'm jus blogging for the sake of blogging. well some ppl will complain i never blog, but see la this is wat happens. alrite then, will drag my tired body to bed.

sigh i was a victim of the dreaded i-lost-whatever-i-just-typed disease. was almost gonna finish typing this post when my comp jus restarted itself. well since its the hols, i'll bother to type it all over again haha.
had a gig over at york hotel on sunday and it could have been good or bad depending on how u looked at it. on one hand, we only played 2 out of 3 sets, but on the other hand, there was hardly any audience left by the time we were thru to the middle of our 2nd set. it was some company's dinner and dance, and we weren't expecting the diners to stay after they've finished eating and had the awards ceremony. there was also supposed to be a live DJ segment after us for the employees to dance the night away in druken revelry, but it seemed that they didn't take advantage of the fact that there was free flow of red wine and i think even beer. most prob it was cos having free flow of wine and beer wasn't an excuse for not turning up for work the next day. but still, some of us took advantage of that fact after everyone left haha. they didn't eat alot too, either that or there was too much food, so much so that we could have 2 servings plus desert. and the food wasn't too bad, given that york hotel was a small hotel and didn't look like a 5-star one. i would give it 3-3.5 stars, but what do i know bout hotel ratings.
me, shane, jon and 2 of his friends went to coffee club express and eventually to the
Balcony Bar over at hereen, which i didn't know existed until that night. it wasn't very appealing, with the 2nd floor alfresco area looking like the resting area outside club momo. it was done up with an arabian theme but in the middle of it was a jacuzzi which wasn't in operation most prob due to the time that we were there. the indoor area was quite comfortable and cosy tho, albeit too small. anyway what happened was that we first just chatted but then ventured into playing truth or dare all the way till 6am. needless to say, there wasn't such a thing called telling the truth and so we did dares the whole time, and even joined forfeits with a bunch of jc students next to us who just had their prom nite. of cos i wun go into details regarding the forfeits, but lets just say it involved the jacuzzi, rejoice shampoo ads, one of the waiters, tarzan, sex-changes, a singh, girl-on-girl kissing, gay dancing, gay push-ups, taking off shirts, and straddling. its up to your imagination to decide who did what with/to who/what. well i sure wun be visiting that place anytime soon, lest the staff recognise me.
production comittments are starting to pile up and that means my mornings and nites will be devoted to production. due to the nature of the practice schedule, it isn't really gonna be possible to have late-nite movies/suppers unlike the previous hols. its jus as well, since im trying to lose my fats haha, but i dun wanna miss out on movie gatherings in people's rooms. oh well...might be able to squeeze in a few here and there heh.
