my swan song for hall production has passed and altho there were some downs during the run of events leading up to show day, where at times i wondered to myself y in the world did i decide to sign up for production again, in all, the past 2 nites have been nothing short of exhilarating and gratifying. being in a different role this time round required me to be on my toes throughout the whole play, making sure people were ready to go onstage and ensuring they were ready to perform. and it really was a eye opening experience to be watching the play unfold from behind the curtains backstage, or looking at the tv screen which was showing the action onstage. i realised i havent watched hall production as part of the audience these 3 years haha. still, there were many times when i wished i was behind the drums...it was so much less stressful and there was less responsibility. all i needed to do was watch for the cue from the music director...besides, i cldnt see anything going on onstage. fortunately, nothing went horribly wrong and the audience enjoyed it, at least tts wat i got from those i asked.

now tt its over, the post-production symptoms will start to appear once again. inserting the lines into everyday conversation or finding the right context to reference the play, singing the songs in ur head, and realising tt u have so much time at nite now tt there's no rehearsals tt u wonder wat to do with it. but i think 3 times is enough, if i were staying next yr, i wldnt wanna do it again. time for me to be part of the audience.

k i think this johari window thing is getting really popular now, so do try it, and the nohari window too, which is the opposite of the johari window.
