"why is eugene blogging so much nowadays?"

beats me.
i may be blogging more, but i'm actually blogging less.
think bout it...
.

.
done? wonderfool.

i must admit that i didnt really give My Chemical Romance much of a listen on their previous album cos i only could find a couple of gems, plus a few other worthy songs. but in The Black Parade, they've got me hooked. and by hooked i mean that i'm listening to the album day in day out, something which is reserved only for bands tt i think deserve it. they are not afraid to push the boundaries of their style of music as can be seen in the few quirky songs they have. i found it difficult to swallow these songs in the prev album, but it seems they've hit the right formula this time round. they've got a couple of lovely ballads too, and of cos the 'epic' (with wailing guitars, marching drumbeats and orchestra backing) Welcome to the Black Parade is definitely an outstanding track, altho in my opinion they could have turned down the punk rock factor a tad bit.

u can be certain i'll still be listening to the album over the next few days.

For those Kent Ridgeans reading this, do you know the hall anthem is taken directly from the US Marine Corp Hymn?

Note for note.

Check it out here.

I didn't know that.

Forget Lost.
Forget CSI.
Forget Prison Break.

This is the latest show to watch:

Heroes

Ordinary people discovering extraordinary abilities.

As a total eclipse casts its shadow across the globe, a genetics professor in India is led by father's disappearance to uncover a secret theory -- there are people with super powers living among us. A young dreamer tries to convince his politician brother that he can fly. A high school cheerleader learns that she is totally indestructible. A Las Vegas stripper, struggling to make ends meet to support her young son, discovers that her mirror image has a secret. A fugitive from justice continues to baffle authorities who twice have been unable to contain him. A gifted artist, whose drug addiction is destroying his life and relationship with his girlfriend, can paint the future. A down-on-his-luck Los Angeles beat cop can hear people's thoughts, which puts him on the trail of an elusive serial killer. In Japan, a young man develops a way to stop time through sheer will power. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world…

I'm totally hooked on it.
